Bartender at O’Learys [Location]

About the role: As a bartender at O’Learys Växjö, your primary responsibility is serving guests in our bars. You are responsible for creating and serving drinks to our guests based on their requests, ensuring they have a wonderful experience through friendly interaction and 100% service. As a bartender, you will also assist with various aspects of the restaurant operations, such as serving, activities, dishwashing, etc., as needed. Together with the bar manager, you are responsible for creating a pleasant and fun atmosphere in the bars and driving the development of the bars forward to ensure they operate as optimally as possible!

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and quality-assuring goods delivered to the bar.
• Preparing ordered drinks according to recipes.
• Serving appropriate drinks to bar guests and providing friendly interaction.
• Actively working on upselling to guests.
• Using measuring glasses for spirits.
• Following routines, checklists, and manuals for the bar.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the bar area, including surfaces and equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with alcohol laws by not serving minors or intoxicated guests.
• Reporting over-serving incidents to the manager or supervisor.
• Staying updated on new recipes and bar trends and implementing them together with the bar manager.
• Assisting in other parts of the business, such as dishwashing, serving, and at the game reception/bowling computer.

Desired experience and skills:

• Experience in a service role, preferably in a restaurant/bar setting and with cash register experience.
• Relationship-building skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish, with good knowledge of English.
• Flexible, service-minded, and attentive.
